Investigators- Brad and Callie
Did the Dark of the Moon tour with about 6 other couples. Took with us a digital camera and forgot the voice recorder and camcorder. NOTE: This was an anniversary vacation and didn't expect to conduct an investigation. While we got no feelings in the lighthouse itself or captured anything on our digital camera besides Dust orbs here and there. We did have a strange occurrence in the main houses basement. As everyone else was still in the lighthouse Callie and I went to investigate the house. Upon getting ready to head up the spiral stairs from the basement we could hear a conversation between two males but couldn't quite make out what they were talking about. We both looked at each other strangely and walked into the other room were we heard the voices. No one was there. We asked the tour guides if on the display that plays sounds of the ocean (which was left on) had any voices on the soundtrack. They stated it was only sounds of the ocean. Wish we had our digital voice recorder. Well the only evidence we have is our personal experience. So we really look forward to going back to so we can maybe make a determination one way or the other.

Did the Dead of Winter Ghost Hunt with a group out of Kansas, a very great group of people.While this was more of an intro into Paranormal Investigations, there were probably over 25 people in attendance, The group was very knowledgeable and informative.The best part was after the "TOURS" were done we investigated on our own some of the Hot Spots well past 5am. We came up basically with no evidence or personal experiences. We did have a flashlight fall off a table in the lap pool area but there are more than one explanation as to why that could have occurred and our video shot caught it but you cant see enough of the top of the table. Also reports of chandeliers moving in the ballroom. We investigated and were quite shocked when one started turning!!! But seconds prior to that the heat had kicked on and the exhaust vents are in the direct path af the lights which was causing them to move. While we found no evidence and were able to debunk a few instances, many people over the years claim it to be haunted. We look forward to going back and see what we can find or disprove .
UPDATE: Flashlight falling has been DEBUNKED!!! I couldn't leave it be and kept watching it over and over until months later I happened to finally notice the table shook ever so slightly when I picked up my KII Meter. Is this what caused it to fall? While I can't say a 100% for sure, I have to throw it out. If there is another possibility for it falling, I cant count it as evidence.
